That is perfectly fine! I will talk you through it and make you feel as comfortable as I can. I'll suggest a few poses to make sure you’re both looking and feeling confident, but then I will give you direction and let it naturally unfold from there. Forget about the camera and remember why you fell in love. I highly recommend booking an engagement shoot. This will give us a chance to get to know each other, and answer and questions/worries you may have.

ARE THERE ANY COUPLES YOU WON'T PHOTOGRAPH?
Your engagement session is our chance to REALLY get to know each other and for you two to practice being in front of a camera. The engagement session includes up to two and a half hours of shooting, two locations, up to two outfits, all edited photos, an online gallery, printing rights, and planning assistance. I absolutely love engagement sessions, its a beautiful experience to forget about the stress of wedding planning for a moment, get present, and reconnect with each other.
what is included in the engagement session?
I highly recommend hiring my trusted second photographer, Howard. Having a second photographer allows us to capture different perspectives, take more group photos and candids of your guests, and ultimately help the day run a little smoother.
should we book a second photographer?
Technology is fickle and I never shoot a wedding without a backup camera, memory cards, batteries, etc. to make sure your day is captured in it's entirety. Plus my main camera captures photographs on two memory cards just in case one memory card gets corrupted.
Do you have backup equipment?
Yes! I offer payment plans with up to 4 payments including the 30% retainer. The due dates will vary but the full amount is due on the date of the wedding. Please also be advised that a small transaction fee will be included in each payment. I love working with my couples, so If you have a certain budget, I'll be happy to customize personalized package options.
